What can a steam cleaner do?
Steam cleaners can be used everywhere: On hard surfaces, in the WC and bathroom, in the kitchen, on glass, mirrors or flat furniture surfaces, for ironing or textile care. Our 9 practical examples clealy show the right way to use a steam cleaner and what points require your special attention.
When a steam cleaner is used for the first time the result is usually not completely satisfactory because there are still traces of old cleaning agent on the surface. Our advice is to do what you might call "basic cleaning" first, i.e. go over the surface once or twice with the tool and a cloth beforhand to remove the old deposits. |

 | 1. To avoid scratching chrome and stainless steel taps, use only the detail nozzle. Hold it close to the object to be cleaned and wait until the limescale has been dissolved. If it is stubborn or in an awkward place, fit a brush to the nozzle. If need be, use the brass brush. Rub the spot to be cleaned with powerful bursts of steam. |

 | 2. To remove thick layers of limescale, first pour drops of vinegar onto them and leave for about 5 minutes to take effect. |

 | 3. You will find that regular steaming will prevent more limescale from forming. |
