The KÄRCHER steam ironing system (with or without steam extraction) can halve the time you spend on ironing, compared with the traditional ironing method. Ironing tables with steam extraction hold your clothes and sheets etc. in place while the moisture is extracted. The ironing surface inflates like a balloon, which prevents creases even on sensitive materials.

The additional heating allows the items ironed to dry immediately so they are ready for putting away in the closet. The steam pressure ironing system can be refilled at any time - without having to wait for it to cool down.
The SC 1702 steam cleaner, combined with a steam pressure iron, is also ideally suited for steam ironing.

1. Set your iron to maximum tempüerature when steam-pressure ironing. The continuous flow of steam prevents your clothes from scorching, be it cotton, silk or linen.

2. Optional extra: Teflon sole for the iron. This prevents dark and sensitive materials from getting shiny (e.g. linen). Printed T shirts need no longer be turned inside oout for ironing.

3. The pressure of steam is sufficient for you to be able to iron thick jeans on one side only. Don´t press too hard, and move the iron slowly over the item you are ironing - the steam pressure does the work for you.
