WRC Mexico: Places 2 and 3 for Ford
Ford confirmed its good form during the 2007 season at the World Rally Championship in Mexico: The drivers Marcus Grönholm and Mikko Hirvonen finished second and third behind Sébastien Loeb (Citroen). This means that Ford leads after four of 16 races (in total) in the drivers' as well as in the manufacturers' standing.
Marcus Grönholm and Mikko Hirvonen were challenged by dusty gravel tracks with their Ford Focus RS racing car in the Mexican mountains. Man and machine were tampered by the thin air in up to 2,700 metres altitude. "I more and more approach to Marcus and Sébastien driving my speed", Mikko Hirvonen says, who now is third in drivers' standing.

The next race will take place from March 30 until April 1, for the first time since 2001 again at the south coast of Portugal.
