Hannes Säubert, Chief Executive Officer
Hannes Säubert assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of Kärcher North America, Inc. in January 2014. He is a senior international executive with extensive experience in general management, sales & marketing as well as corporate and business strategy. Hannes combines management consulting and corporate development experience in Europe with operational P&L responsibility in North America.
He started his career with management consulting company Arthur D. Little in Germany. After having become a Partner, he joined Hilti Corporation in Liechtenstein as a Senior Vice President Corporate Development. In his most recent position, Hannes served as a Member of the Executive Management Team of Hilti North America, Inc. as General Manager of the Civil, Energy & Industry business.
Hannes holds a PhD in Strategic Management from European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. In addition he earned a Master of Science in Engineering Management from University of Stuttgart, Germany as well as an MBA from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
Peter Lynch, Chief Financial Officer
Peter joined Kärcher North America in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. He brings 20 years of diverse financial management experience with industry leading global engineering and manufacturing companies. His background in both front office and back office financial operations gives him a unique perspective on overall business and financial performance.
Peter began his career in public accounting before joining Honeywell Aerospace where he held various financial leadership positions in both operations and commercial finance. He has also held financial leadership roles with Johns Manville and Parkson Corporation.
Most recently Peter held financial executive roles with Gates Corporation serving in a corporate role as Vice President of Finance, Gates Global Commercial and prior to that as Vice President of Finance for the Power Transmission Division.
He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and is a licensed CPA.
Bill Ott, Vice President of Technology Development
Bill joined Kärcher in 2012 to lead the Technology Development organization in driving Portfolio Lifecycle Management for North America. He brings a diverse background in product development, innovation and technology creation from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies servicing many industries and markets. This unique combination enables Bill to create a compelling vision and to lead his team to deliver world-class results.
He has experience managing cross-functional development teams in Europe and Asia and driving global collaboration through engineering automation, process alignment and leveraging lean product development techniques. He is adept at balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution and aligning his team to deliver the highest value.
Bill holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, MS in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University and an MBA from Syracuse University.
Jeff Fithian, Vice President of IT and Business PMO
Jeff joined Kärcher in October 2009 and was initially responsible for leading Kärcher North America’s SAP operations and project teams, before taking his current role as head of Kärcher’s Information Technology and Business Program Management departments He brings over 16 years of experience in the office products, electronics, software, and consumer products industries with leadership roles in ERP Systems Implementations, Business Process Re-Engineering, Custom and Packaged Software Application Development, and IT Management.
He has worked in both the US and Europe with leading Fortune 500 companies and consulting organizations, including Andersen Consulting, Corporate Express, Sun Microsystems, Storage Technology Corporation, and Siemens AG.
Jeff is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S and M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
Tom Bettis, Vice President of Sourcing and Asian Operations
Tom has served Kärcher since June 2006, initially with Kärcher Floor Care, Inc. He joined Windsor Industries, Inc. in July 1995 with 20 years of both domestic and international Materials and Operational Management experience.
Tom’s extensive knowledge of business practices in Asia spans from 1989 to present, including 2 years of living in China as a General Manager of an electronics manufacturer.
Mr. Bettis received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.
Dan Spickard, Vice President of Operations
Dan joined Karcher in 2013. As the leader of North American Manufacturing Operations, Dan champions KNA’s commitment to creating value for our customers through the application of Lean operational and management practices.
During his 20+ year career, Dan has held various roles in operations and senior management in both high-tech Fortune 500 companies and privately-held mid-sized industrial equipment manufacturers. He brings a broad base of experience and expertise in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and management to the Karcher executive team.
Dan holds B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a MBA from the University of Denver.
Dave Korty, Vice President of Logistics and Planning
Dave Korty joined Kärcher in 2013 as Vice President of Logistics and Planning.
Dave leads the strategic development and planning of the company’s logistics infrastructure and operations, ensuring a lean approach to distribution and supply chain channels to support the growth of Kärcher’s North American markets and its commitment to customer centric distribution, logistics and warehousing.
Dave brings 25 years of experience in global logistics management. He is a DOA-certified Supply Chain leader in Strategic Planning, Lean Optimization, Multimodal Transportation, and regional multi-site DC start-ups for Fortune 500 Companies.
In his early career, Dave served in the U.S. Army as a US Paratrooper and Combat Officer in Iraq, and later as a Commander and senior Logistics Officer, earning several awards for leadership and meritorious service. He holds an MBA in Management & Operations from Webster University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law from San Diego State University, in addition to various certifications in Lean Six Sigma, OSHA, and Facility Operations.
