Denver, Colorado – Kärcher expands its range of extremely robust and high-performance industrial sweepers with a new model. The KM 105/180 R Bp Classic is the entry-level machine to this machine class, designed for heavy-duty applications. Thanks to a battery and electric motor the model is emissions-free and can also be operated in enclosed buildings and warehouses. Designed for demanding cleaning jobs with large amounts of dust and course dirt, the KM 105/180 R Bp Classic provides excellent sweeping results thanks to a direct throw principle and floating main brush.
The new model is characterized by a functional design with proven components. The steel frame provides the necessary stability to withstand day-to-day use. With a fully charged battery (36 V, 255 Ah) the machine can be used for up to 2.5 hours. The practical productivity with 1 side broom is 54,250 sq. ft/hr. The relatively narrow machine can also work in corridors and narrow areas. A three-point chassis with hydraulic drive and rear axle steering gives the machine the necessary maneuverability. The cleaning path ranges from 30.7 inches to 53 inches with optional second side brush.
The dirt collection tank has a capacity of 47 gallons for uninterrupted work. The hydraulic high dump (max. height 4 ft.) relieves the user of strenuous movements when disposing of the waste.
Superb Equipment For Simple Operation and Maintenance
Coarse dirt as well as large amounts of fine dust are reliably picked up by this sweeper. In order to guarantee the best possible dirt pick-up and reduce the wear and tear, the contact pressure of the roller brush can be adapted to the ground during operation.
The operation is simple and intuitive with a short learning time for the operator. All displays and control panel are located in the user's field of vision and can be easily accessed. Service access with quick-release couplings and the tool-free change of roller brushes reduce the maintenance effort.
The sweeper comes standard with a reliable pocket filter system to provide premium filtration. Automatic cleaning makes dust-free work possible, and increases the life of the filter. Kärcher also offers an optional flat pleated filter or round filter system. A selection of additional configuration options are available to include for example, overhead guard for the cab, non-marking solid rubber tires, a second side brush, a water spraying system for containing dust, as well as various lighting sets through to the so-called Blue Spot, an optical route warning device for increasing safety, particularly in logistics.
