It Has Never Been Easier

Dry ice cleaning combines powerful cleaning performance with maximum protection of surfaces. With dry ice you can deep clean a wide variety of materials such as metals, plastics, wood, glass or textiles with flawless results.

Cleanliness = cold x acceleration
The Ice Blaster accelerates dry ice pellets (up to 3/32-inch) with compressed air to over 335 mph. The dirt freezes due to the −109°F cold and cracks form. The dry ice pellets with their high speed can easily dissolve the dirt. A particularly effective method for removing almost all types of dirt while protecting the material.

Operation with liquid CO₂
Separate dry ice production for fast availability and mobile use: dry ice pellets are available at any time, immediately, wherever and whenever they are needed. Operate independently of dry ice suppliers. Your IB 10/8 L2P produces high-quality dry ice pellets on demand for an optimal cleaning performance.

Intuitive 1-button operation
Dry ice blasting has never been easier. With the ice quantity setting you can adapt the cleaning performance to every cleaning object and always achieve the best cleaning results.

The extremely low compressed air consumption of maximum 28 cfm allows operation of the IB 10/8 L2P with compact workshop compressors and common compressed air networks and is therefore your simple and economical entry-level model to dry ice blasting technology.

How L2P Dry Ice Blasting Works:

The abbreviation "L2P" stands for "Liquid to Pellet", and represents the direct conversion of liquid CO₂ into dry ice pellets. A patented compressor unit integrated in the machine produces the dry ice pellets directly from the CO₂ in the CO2 cylinder – not in advance, but exactly when required and without delay. Compared to the traditional method, this eliminates the logistics hassle and the stockpiling in cooling containers. A loss of dry ice from sublimation is prevented. The cleaning result is the same as with the previous method. The cleaning result matches traditional methods—only it's much more flexible, simpler, and completely independent.

Traditional Method For Dry Ice Blasting:

The pelletizer is supplied from a large CO₂ tank, and produces the dry ice pellets. The pellets are stored in insulated containers and transported to the job site by truck. There the pellets are loaded into the dry ice blaster and accelerated with compressed air.

So versatile. So complete.

Until now, dry ice blasting has not gained widespread acceptance because it was too expensive and time-consuming. L2P completely overcomes these hurdles. It is far more economical, simple, and flexible to use—eliminating dry ice logistics and the need for a large compressor. It is fully mobile and available at any time without the need for advance operational planning.

Efficiency from a Cylinder

Liquid CO2 consumption ranges between 44 and 132 lbs/hr (20 to 60 kg/h) depending on various factors, with the machine's power level having the greatest impact. Ambient temperature also plays a role in dry ice production; higher temperatures yield less dry ice per pound of liquid CO2, while lower temperatures increase the production rate. Finally, dry ice production becomes more efficient the longer the machine runs, which further helps reduce overall liquid CO2 consumption.

Slats look dirty before cleaning.

Radiator Cleaning: Before

Stubborn dirt easily settles between radiator fins and tubes. Cleaning these narrow gaps to a professional standard is incredibly difficult with conventional methods, often forcing the use of aggressive chemical solvents.

Radiator Cleaning: After

Dry ice blasting completely lifts and removes grime from the deepest crevices without damaging the sensitive metal fins. The result is a visually and functionally flawless surface.

Vehicle Interiors: Before

Sticky, embedded grime in a vehicle interior presents a major challenge. Delicate surfaces must be protected, yet traditional detailing methods and liquid cleaners rarely produce perfect results.

Vehicle Interiors: After

Complete dirt removal. Dry ice blasting breaks down and lifts deeply embedded grime from fabrics, plastics, and metal surfaces alike without leaving any secondary residue. This process requires zero water or cleaning agents, eliminating the risk of water stains.
