Are there specific Kärcher cleaning machines that strictly require the new tabless Performance series because the Standard series does not provide enough power?

No, all Kärcher cleaning machines can operate effectively on our Standard battery series. While the extreme peak power output of the tabless cells (up to 4 kW) is absolutely essential for certain heavy-duty STIHL outdoor machines with very high power demands, it is not strictly required for Kärcher units. The Performance series (AP 100.0 P, AP 200.0 P, AP 300.0 P (Connected)) is the ultimate premium upgrade for demanding Kärcher users, or for customers who operate multiple STIHL machines with high power requirements in their daily fleet, with exactly the same batteries.

Can our customers operate their existing Kärcher Battery Power+ machines with the new ALLPRO batteries?

Can our customers use an adapter to install the new ALLPRO batteries into their existing Kärcher Battery Power+ machines?

Can the new ALLPRO batteries (Professional) still be used interchangeably with the Kärcher "Battery Power" machines (Home & Garden), as it was possible with the previous generation?

No, this cross-line compatibility is no longer possible. With the previous generation, customers could interchange batteries between the Home & Garden (Battery Power) and Professional (Battery Power+) platforms. However, moving forward, the Consumer line will retain the existing Battery Power interface, while the Professional line transitions entirely to the new ALLPRO interface. Therefore, Kärcher Professional (ALLPRO) batteries and Kärcher Consumer batteries will no longer be interchangeable.

The Battery Power+ was a 36V platform, the ALLPRO platform is named with 40V MAX, is there really a higher Voltage with the new platform?

No, there is no technical difference in the nominal voltage. The actual nominal voltage for all new ALLPRO batteries remains 36V. The designation "40V MAX" prominently featured on the new ALLPRO products and brand design refers to the maximum initial peak voltage without a workload. During active commercial operation, the system consistently delivers a nominal voltage of 36V, which is the exact same proven baseline as the previous Battery Power+ platform.

What can I do if I still own Battery Power+ machines or batteries/chargers from Kärcher?
