A new dimension of cleaning

Our patented IB 10/8 L2P dry ice cleaner is a technical revolution. For the first time you can use the excellent cleaning performance of dry ice blasting spontaneously at any time and without long preparation. The IB 10/8 L2P is always ready to use straight away because it produces the dry ice pellets on demand. This unique machine also requires very little compressed air during operation. Thanks to this and other special properties, our IB 10/8 L2P makes dry ice blasting attractive and economical for many target groups and applications.

machine cleaning with dry ice

It has never been easier

Dry ice cleaning combines powerful cleaning performance with maximum protection of surfaces. With dry ice you can deep clean lots of materials such as metals, plastics, wood, glass or textiles with flawless results.

Cleanliness = cold x acceleration
The Ice Blaster accelerates the up to 2.5 mm dry ice pellets with compressed air to over 150 m/s. The dirt freezes due to the −79 °C cold and cracks form. The dry ice pellets with their high speed can easily dissolve the dirt. A particularly effective method to removing almost all types of dirt whilst protecting the material.

Operation with liquid CO₂
Separate dry ice production for fast availability and mobile use: dry ice pellets are available at any time, immediately, wherever and whenever they are needed. Independent of dry ice suppliers. Your IB 10/8 L2P produces high-quality dry ice pellets on demand for an optimal cleaning performance.

Intuitive 1-button operation
Dry ice blasting has never been easier. With the ice quantity setting you can adapt the cleaning performance to every cleaning object and always achieve the best cleaning results.

The extremely low compressed air consumption of maximum 800 l/min allows operation of the IB 10/8 L2P with compact workshop compressors and common compressed air networks and is therefore your simple and economic entry-level model to dry ice blasting technology.

L2P dry ice blasting

How L2P dry ice blasting works:

The abbreviation "L2P" stands for "Liquid to Pellet", and therefore the direct conversion of liquid CO₂ into dry ice pellets. A patented compressor unit integrated in the machine produces the dry ice pellets directly from the CO₂ in the gas cylinder – not in advance, but exactly when required and without delay. Compared to the traditional method, this saves the entire logistics effort and the stockpiling in cooling containers. A loss of dry ice from sublimation is prevented. The cleaning result is the same as with the previous method. Only much more flexible, simpler and more independent.

Traditional method dry ice cleaning

Traditional method for dry ice blasting:

The pelletizer is supplied from a large CO₂ tank, and produces the dry ice pellets. The pellets are stored in cool boxes and transported to the operation site by truck. There the pellets are filled in the dry ice blaster and accelerated with compressed air.

So versatile. So complete.

Up to now dry ice blasting has not gained widespread acceptance because it was so expensive and time-consuming. These hurdles are now overcome with L2P. L2P is far more economical and can be used simply and flexibly – without logistics for dry ice, without a large compressor, mobile and available at any time without operational planning.

Efficiency from a cylinder

The consumption of liquid CO₂ is between 20 and 60 kg/h and depends on various factors. The power level has the biggest influence. But the ambient temperature also influences the production of the dry ice. At a higher temperature less dry ice is produced per kilogramme of liquid CO₂. The production rate increases at a lower temperature. Finally, the dry ice production is more effective the longer the machine is running. And this also helps reduce the consumption of liquid CO₂.

Slats look before cleaning

Before

Stubborn dirt settled between the tubes of this radiator. It is difficult to clean the narrow gaps to a satisfactory standard using normal methods. If so, then aggressive solvents have to be used.

Slats look after cleaning

After

With dry ice blasting the dirt is completely dissolved and removed, even in the narrow gaps of the radiators. The surface is not damaged. The result is visibly and functionally flawless.

Child seat before dry ice cleaning

Before

Adhesive, dried-in dirt in the vehicle interior is a real cleaning problem. The surfaces cannot be damaged. Suitable methods and cleaning agents only seldom produce perfect results.

Child seat after dry ice cleaning

After

Not a bit of dirt left! With dry ice blasting every piece of dirt, even deep down in fabrics, is broken down and removed without leaving any residues. No matter whether it is textiles, plastics or metal surfaces. Without using cleaning agents or water, and no stains.

Dry ice blasting for everything

Our dry ice blasters impress with sophisticated technology, uncompromising performance and robust quality.
